Dance Planner was founded to create clear and reliable pathways for dancers seeking international careers.


What began as one dancer's journey—facing limited opportunities, scarce information, and complex global procedures—led to the creation of a platform that supports dancers through every stage of studying and working abroad.

Today, Dance Planner is one of Korea's leading professional agencies in international dance career development, collaborating with 63 dance organizations across 21 countries and supporting 369+ successful placements in global companies and schools.

Our Team

Founder & CEO: Kim Dong-uk  

Dong-uk Kim is the founder and CEO of Dance Planner, a professional agency dedicated to supporting dancers in building international careers. Before establishing Dance Planner, he worked as a dancer with the The JK Tyl Theatre in Pilsen in the Czech Republic, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges dancers face when navigating global auditions, visas, and overseas transitions.

Dong-uk Kim currently serves as:

  • Artistic Director, Asia Dance Audition
  • Program Director, Porsche Turbo for Dreams – Ballet (Long Term Scholarship Program)
  • International Director, Korea International Contemporary Dance Competition (KICDC)
  • Executive Committee Member, Seoul International Dance Competition (SIDC)
  • International Jury Member, The World Ballet Trial (TWBT, Malaysia)
  • International Jury Member, D'Artistry Competition (Indonesia)


His work connects dance institutions, companies, competitions, and young artists across Asia and Europe, contributing to international mobility and artistic exchange in the field.
